Communications Officer (Reservist)
About the role
The communications department of the Direction Interdépartementale de la Police Nationale de Vaucluse (DIPN 84) is looking for a Communications Officer to reinforce their team on a temporary basis. This is an occasional assignment, not a permanent position or full-time contract — paid per assignment (vacations ponctuelles), and can be combined with your existing job. You'll help showcase the work of the National Police through content creation, event coverage, and institutional communication development. Responsibilities include covering police events and operations (photo and video), producing photo reports and video edits, writing posts for social media and internal communication materials, contributing to digital content creation, designing communication materials (posters, visuals, infographics), showcasing police services' actions to the public, collaborating with different DIPN 84 departments, proposing ideas to grow the visibility and image of the National Police, and liaising with the press and authorities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's to Master's degree (required) in communications, marketing, journalism, or related field
- Interest in institutional communication and public service
- Excellent writing and interpersonal skills
- Strong grasp of social media and digital communication
- Photography and/or video skills a plus
- Familiarity with design/editing tools (Canva, CapCut)
- Creative, autonomous, rigorous, organized
- Driver's license (Permis B) preferred
