Facility Technician
About the role
Provide technical facility support for event venues (mainly VILCO Stadthalle): repairs, maintenance, upkeep, overseeing contractors. Maintain outdoor areas and handle winter services, including on-call duty. Set up and take down events: coordination, seating layouts. Support events on-site: safety compliance, emergency exits/escape routes, building management systems.
Requirements
- Completed technical apprenticeship (electronics technician for building systems, or HVAC/sanitary systems mechanic, or similar)
- Several years of relevant experience; event venue experience a plus
- Certification as a building services specialist, or willingness to complete it
- Electrical specialist certification (IHK), DGUV 3, driver's license (Class B), MS Office skills
- Team player, flexible, reliable
