Head of Costume Workshops

Lead the costume workshops at the Maxim Gorki Theater in Berlin. Develop and improve work processes and structures within the costume workshops, and ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.

• Completed training or degree in costume design, tailoring, costume mastery, or comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in costume workshops, ideally in theater
• Experience leading teams and/or production processes
• Solid knowledge of pattern cutting, materials, and costume production
• Strong organizational skills, business mindset, structured approach
• Communication and teamwork skills, an appreciative leadership style
• Resilience and flexibility, especially during production phases with tight schedules
