IT Operations Manager
About the role
Join the Finance IT team for the SHAPE+ transformation program at DHL, the world's leading mail and logistics service provider. Foster cross-department collaboration, indirectly manage an IT operations team of 10-15 people, support development of a future-oriented IT Target Operating Model, coordinate with internal stakeholders and external providers (SAP and other XaaS/system suppliers), act as primary escalation point for critical operational issues, oversee day-to-day operations of SAP Cloud platforms, design and monitor KPIs, SLAs, and operational metrics, report to Shape+ Management and Finance Divisions, support IT security and data protection compliance (e.g., GDPR), and support Change & Risk Management (ChaRM) and strategic projects like SolMan replacement.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- ITIL certification preferred; leadership/project management or Agile/DevOps experience a plus
- 6+ years of professional experience in IT operations
- 3+ years of leadership experience managing IT operations or interdisciplinary teams
- Significant consulting experience highly valued
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Good German (5+ years of German work experience a strong asset), very good English
- Structured, solution-oriented problem-solving
- Solid understanding of IT infrastructure and service management
- SAP S/4HANA (Cloud) operations experience a plus
