IT Security Specialist

Analyze, evaluate, and track security alerts and incidents. Assess, prioritize, and coordinate vulnerability remediation. Operate and further develop selected security tools. Analyze identity and access-related risks. Provide technical security input for infrastructure, network, cloud, and transformation projects, especially secure remote access, authentication, network segmentation, and connected systems. Support IT security governance, audits, risk assessments, and compliance through technical input, documentation, and reporting. Continuously monitor current threats, vulnerabilities, attack techniques, and relevant security technologies.

• Degree in computer science, IT security, or related field (or comparable qualification)
• Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, networks, operating systems, IAM, endpoint security, and cloud security
• Experience with security tools: EDR/XDR, SIEM, vulnerability management, identity protection, PAM, firewalls, or remote access solutions
• Hands-on experience monitoring, evaluating, and tracking security events, incidents, and vulnerabilities
• Knowledge of relevant frameworks (ISO 27001, GDPR, etc.)
• Ability to structure risk assessments and give clear, actionable recommendations
• Analytical, structured, proactive approach; experience working with IT Operations, external providers, and security stakeholders
• Manufacturing industry experience or understanding of connected production/IoT/IIoT environments is a plus
• Fluent German and English
