IT Technician
About the role
Provide day-to-day technical support to staff and students. Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, printers, and other ICT equipment. Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues. Manage user accounts, email accounts, and access permissions. Support maintenance and monitoring of ICT infrastructure, servers, and network systems. Help maintain cybersecurity standards and respond to security incidents. Prepare and support ICT labs for internal and external exams. Support school communication systems and ICT services. Maintain accurate equipment and software inventories.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, MIS, or related field
- Good knowledge of Windows OS, hardware, and networking
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn new technologies
- Nice to have: Microsoft 365, Active Directory, virtualization, network administration, or cybersecurity experience
