Media Manager

Contabo, a cloud hosting provider, is hiring a Media Manager to help reposition the brand as a reliable, AI-ready, developer-friendly infrastructure provider. The role focuses on engaging developer and DevOps communities on platforms like Reddit and Discord, monitoring brand mentions, producing commercial and marketing content, and building an internal advocacy programme.

• 5–7 years in community management, ORM, social media, or content marketing, ideally with commercial content experience
• Hands-on experience with ORM or social listening tools (Brandwatch, Mention, Sprinklr, Peec.ai, or similar)
• Strong content creation across platform-native formats, from Reddit and Discord to LinkedIn and X
• Genuine community engagement with a developer or tech audience
• Strong communication and conflict-handling skills
• Proactive, ownership-driven, and composed under public criticism
• AI fluency beyond basic prompting
• Fluent English (C1+)
• Nice to have: industry experience in cloud, hosting, SaaS, or developer tools; event coordination; agency management; Spanish, Portuguese, or German; a marketing or communications degree
