Off-Cycle Analyst — Investment Banking
About the role
Off-cycle Analyst role in Bank of America's Investment Banking division in Paris, France. The Investment Banking division covers industry, product, and country teams across EMEA, including Consumer & Retail, Natural Resources, Financial Institutions, Healthcare, Technology/Media/Telecoms, M&A, and Leveraged Finance. The Off-cycle Analyst Programme offers broad exposure across coverage teams, with extensive formal training, mentorship, and on-the-job support. Responsibilities include working on projects alongside bankers in industry, product, and country coverage groups, helping deliver solutions to clients, contributing to client presentations and financial analysis, building relationships, and taking part in executing transactions with clients and other advisors.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate or postgraduate degree
- On track for at least a 2:1 (or equivalent)
- Fluent in French and English
- Genuine interest in financial markets, strong drive and innovation
- Teamwork, leadership, problem-solving, and creativity
- Available to start January 2027, for 6 months (no deferrals)
- Nice to have: regional knowledge for Emerging Markets roles (sub-Saharan Africa, Russia, China)
