Platform Engineer

Own the cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and deployment processes that keep a cloud-based platform connecting airlines and hotels secure, scalable, and highly available. Responsibilities include evolving cloud infrastructure, running and improving CI/CD with GitHub Actions across multiple repos, container builds, zero-downtime deployments, making infrastructure more robust and scalable, and handling day-to-day operations.

• Solid production experience with Docker and Kubernetes: deploying, debugging, and scaling
• Routine with CI/CD pipelines and GitOps (ArgoCD or Flux)
• Under 2 years' Kubernetes experience is fine, but comfortable with it in production
• Experience with multi-region setups
• Scripting and automation (Bash, Python, or similar)
• Basics of networking and TLS
• Able to work independently and make pragmatic decisions, with no large infra team behind you
• German and English for daily work
• Bonus: Terraform or other IaC, Helm, secrets management (Vault, Sealed Secrets), Open Telekom Cloud or OpenStack experience, PostgreSQL operations, Celery or queue tuning, security hardening, cost optimisation, dev and test environments
