Project Manager
About the role
Avnet is looking for a Project Manager to deliver complex, IT-enabled initiatives and end-to-end business solutions across a heterogeneous enterprise landscape (ERP, warehouse/logistics systems, CRM), working with business and IT teams and external technology partners. Responsibilities include defining project scope, objectives, deliverables, success criteria, and benefits with stakeholders; building and maintaining project plans (timelines, cutover and go-live schedules, resources, dependencies, budgets); leading full project life-cycle delivery using Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies; managing time, cost, quality, procurement, communication, and risk; coordinating cross-functional teams (developers, testers, BAs, infrastructure, vendors, business); tracking KPIs, reporting status, and controlling scope changes; ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements; managing projects crossing multiple departments and regions; leading project meetings, workshops, and reviews; working with architects on integration strategies; and managing vendor relationships, cost, quality, and schedules.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience, bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time and on budget
- Experience across long-term strategic programs and short tactical initiatives
- Skilled in Jira and MS Project
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Confident leader, comfortable in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
- Independent, with good judgment
