Senior Data Engineer

Join the Data & Analytics team in Core Business Range to develop and deploy data products, working closely with teams across the IKEA group and its partners. Transform data into analyzable formats (ETL/ELT), develop and maintain infrastructure for data sourcing, processing, and sharing, optimize and implement tools for data quality, drift, and decay monitoring, manage data integration, processing, and modelling, provide APIs for standardized data sharing and access, translate business data needs into technical solutions and architectures, ensure compliance with security, legal, and delivery standards, support and coach teams in data-driven development, and document data infrastructure knowledge while applying CI/CD best practices.

• Expertise in PySpark, Python, and SQL
• Experience using AI assistants such as GitHub Copilot and Databricks Genie Code
• Solid knowledge of software development languages and of on-premises, cloud, and hybrid infrastructure
• Proactive team player who takes ownership, builds cross-functional relationships, and enjoys mentoring
• Curious problem solver committed to continuous learning
• At least 5 years of data engineering experience
