Teacher (Grades 3-4, Temporary)
About the role
De Gouden Griffel is looking for an engaged, enthusiastic teacher for their unit 2 (grades 3-4). You'll work thematically (using the Noordwijk Method), teach reading, writing, and math (core focus in grade 3, expanded in grade 4), work with weekly planning, and collaborate closely with your unit colleagues. A typical day starts around 8:15 with coffee and team prep, lessons begin at 8:45, and the school day ends at 15:15 (12:15 on Wednesdays and Fridays).
Requirements
- Pabo diploma or demonstrable teaching qualification (or close to completing it)
- Genuine care for children
- Good observational skills, able to respond to learning needs
- Believes in teamwork
- Takes initiative and wants to keep developing
