Tram Spare Parts Category Manager
About the role
Manage tram spare parts categories, overseeing full lifecycle management (in-house or outsourced) from procurement to disposal. Plan and organize procurement processes, set budgets, define minimum stock levels, and analyze supplier pricing. Identify and develop relationships with spare parts manufacturers and suppliers; lead procurement and production projects. Develop technical specifications, monitor contract performance, prepare reports, and support the procurement process.
Requirements
- Higher education (academic or second-level professional) in social sciences, transport services, logistics, business, or engineering/technology
- Latvian language, level C1
- Up to 3 years of experience in spare parts, technical materials, or vehicle equipment category management, procurement, or logistics
- English at C1 level for communication with foreign partners
- Ability to analyze spare parts consumption, stock levels, costs, and supplier offers, and make data-driven decisions
- Ability to plan procurement, maintain stock availability, coordinate projects, and meet contract deadlines
- MS Office skills
